Movement of Units, Automatic Disorder; Moving Fast and Slow

Sorry, I have another couple of questions.

A heavy infantry unit is one of the units that is automatically disordered when it crosses woods or broken ground. On page 36, the rules indicate that if that heavy infantry unit retreats, pursues or follows through in terrain that disorders it, it would transform the two disorders into a hit and keep the disorder too.

Question 1: If a disordered heavy infantry unit is in woods or broken ground, does it suffer another disorder (and thus a hit) if it is given a Move Fast, or Move Slow order while in the woods or broken ground?

Question 2: Can a unit be given a Move Fast or Move Slow order and not actually move, or move less than a cm? I know that on page 14 of the rules it states "If the unit moved less than 10cm due to terrain limits, being disordered, or because it’s a slow unit then don’t give it a Move Fast marker." However, that restriction does not appear to apply to normal movement.

Hi
if you decide to follow, retreat or pursue when you are already disordered you keep another disorder (and you will transform them in a hit an a disorder). No mention about fast move or move slow, so you do't take another disorder. This rule try to simulate the loss of control in a hard situation when you loose control in a dangerous area. If you move only (fast or slow) and you are already disordered there are not other penality.
2) Sometime can happen that some limitation cut down the movement also below 1 cm. In this case you must consider that the unit is confused or that the order are not well understand. In the confusion of a battle can happen... Your commander shout the order but the man are not ready or they are tired, confused or they don't want execute the order... Very often, in the normal life, the soldier don't do what the commander want! They are not robot... and we forgot this point too often.

Thanks again for your responses Max.

I apologize, did not word question 2 very well. I meant to say, can you give a unit a Move Fast order and purposely not move it even though you could move it over 10 cm if you wanted to--and then give it a Move Fast marker?

No. Probably my english is worst than what I think... <_<
If for any reason a unit move less that 10 cm he doesn't have Move fast marker.
You can give the order Move fast also at disordered unit but the final result of the dices will tell you if they run (move 10 cm or more) or not.
For example.
A unit of Romans (heavy infantry) disordered declare a fast move into a wood.
He will roll 4d6 for the movement - 1d6 for the wood - 5 cm (heavy infantry)...
If the result is 17 and 1 for the wood he does acquire the Move fast marker ( 17 - 1 -5 =11). If the result is 17 and 3 for the wood he does't acquire the Move fast marker ( 17 - 3 -5 =9 minus than 10).

They try to run but all the penality slow down the unit... The armour is too heavy, and they are too much stressed...
Hope is clear.

I understand, that is clear. I would recommend clarifying in the rules or a FAQ that you must move a unit at least 10 cm in order to give it a Move Fast marker.

I am sure your english is better than my italian! I study italian everyday, but it is not easy to learn a new language. :)
